Veterinary Technician

We are seeking an experienced veterinary technician for our two-doctor small animal practice in Poultney, VT. Experience working as a veterinary technician in small animal practice is required, with preference given to a CVT/LVT. Responsibilities include client communication, venipuncture/sample collection, patient restraint and record-keeping, anesthesia monitoring, dental prophylaxis and surgical preparation, as well as preventative care. This is a full-time position that includes some Saturdays (half days), but no emergency call or overnights. We provide personalized small animal care in a high quality, not high volume, practice setting. Canine reproductive services and Chinese medicine/acupuncture are also offered. This is a great opportunity to work with veterinarians that enjoy teaching, as well as a veterinary technician specialist.
