After receiving her Master’s degree in Reproductive Physiology and DVM degree from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Johnson returned to her home state of Vermont to be closer to family. After working as both a large and small animal veterinarian for 17 years, she bought the Poultney Veterinary Hospital, where her practice is now limited to cats and dogs. She has a special interest in canine reproduction and enjoys working with dedicated dog breeders to maximize fertility. She loves getting to know her patients personally so she can customize their medical care to their lifestyles.
